It's getting colder and my thoughts are straying to visions of decorated trees, mulled cider, holiday baking, and snuggling up on the couch with my kids and a pile of Christmas books. I'm going to share with you some of my favourites, new and old!
Read MoreOne of my favourite moments of the day is when we curl up on the couch or his bed with a pile of books and read without the distraction of his big brothers. Reading has always been my favourite way to unwind, and it is a gift I want to pass along to my children. Thomas & Friends stories feature strongly, as with his brothers at this age, and revisiting the familiar stories brings back memories of all the other times I've read them with a little boy on my lap.
Read MoreI love to read. When I say I love to read, what I really mean is that I love to read. This year has been light on content, but high in quantity. Years past have been the reverse. I don't discriminate between genres. Very little is too fluffy or too heavy for me to devour. I'll read just about anything.
