My New Spring Purse

I just completed a quick and easy little purse out of the first yarn I spun using my turkish spindle.

I made the body of it in less than an hour during a BBQ (yes, it's small, but I'm a painfully slow knitter), added the handle with the last of the yarn sometime last week, and finally got around to felting it on Monday.

Last night, I cobbled together a lining, quickly basted it into place, and hammered in a couple decorative snaps for a closure. The boys were very intrigued by Mommy hammering her knitting. :D

I like it, though I will be redoing the stitching at some point.
