How many times in our lives do we do certain things? The idea of infinite opportunity conflicting with finite experience grabbed my 10yr old's imagination. As an exercise in making lemonade out of an otherwise miserable experience, watching the day break over the water was a success. As an opportunity to experience both a "first" and a "last" with my 10yr old, it was a little heartbreaking.
