This is a great play dough recipe that makes great use of Kool-aid powder for both colour and scent! It's very pliable and easy to clean up afterwards. When Boy#1 and Boy#2 were in kindergarten, I used to make some from time to time to drop off for the classroom. If stored in a ziploc bag, it will keep for a very long time. This recipe is easy enough for an older child to do with some supervision for the handling of the boiling water.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup salt
1 pkg Kool-aid powder (or substitute gel food colouring)
1 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup boiling water
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the oil and the boiling water and mix well.
