Welcome to my place.

I write about about being a 40-something mum of six wonderfully exasperating children, attachment parenting, my adventures in the kitchen, and whatever else comes to mind.

In The Zone

One of my favorite ways to unwind after a day with the kids is, battery-permitting, to plug myself into my mp3 player and tune out to my surroundings. I am only the slightest bit ashamed to admit that my favorite stuff to get my kitchen groove onto is the music I listened to in my pre-formative years--that is, the music I listened to between the ages of 7 and 14. Tonight's album playlist:

The only sour moment in my musical journey into yesteryear was the noticeable ommission of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" album. I think I'm gonna have to hook me up.

ETA: I forgot to mention how embarrassing it can be to suddenly realize you're singing along at the top of your lungs to something that only you can hear.. and are fudging the words. Tee hee! :D

Surprising (to me, anyway)

Testing, testing.. 1, 2, 3..
